Offer Description

The Department of Translation and Language Studies of UPF is looking for a post-doctoral researcher to work on the estimation of intrinsic dimensionality in the latent spaces of neural-network-based language representations.
The successful candidate should have a mathematical/physics background in dimensionality estimation in high-dimensional spaces or related topics, and an interest in applying information/dimensionality estimation methods to linguistic data.
The candidate is expected to lead work in this area, as well as helping supervise PhD students on related topics.
