Candidates must hold an internationally-recognized Ph.D.-equivalent degree (or evidence of its completion in the nearest future) preferably in Material Science, Physical Chemistry, Chemistry, Nanoscience or related.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in several of the next domains:
- Design of emerging optoelectronic and photochemical materials such as: Perovskites, Low dimensional materials, Ceramics, Sol-gels and foams, MOFs, COFs, Zeolites and Membranes.
- Synthesis of the above
- Physicochemical characterization of materials
- Computational modelling
- Data science, modelling and prediction using artificial intelligence
- Automation
The postdoctoral candidate will have the opportunity to work in the vibrant field of materials science applied for energy storage, CO2 capture and conversion, and ammonia electrosynthesis among others, as well as utilize state of the art fabrication and characterization facilities.
