POST-DOCTORAL CONTRACT TO WORK AT THE CANCER GENOMICS GROUP OF Dr. ANTONI HURTADO AT THE SALAMANCA CANCER RESEARCH CENTER

**OFFER DESCRIPTION:. The candidate should be able or be familiarized with single cell sequencing technologies coupled to high throughput sequencing. Moreover, is expected to complement the genomic analyses with bioinformatic analyses. The main goal of the project is to understand the mechanisms of resistance to aromatase inhibitors combined with CDK4 inhibitors in cancer, which are the most provided drug treatment in advanced luminal breast cancer patients.

• Required Education Level:

• Degree in biomedicine, biology, medicine or similar. Master's degree in biomedicine or related field
• PhD in biomedicine or related field

• Deep understanding of statistical concepts and statistical data analysis.
• Experiences with single cell technology (sc-RNAseq or/and sc-ATAC-seq)

• Previous stays in national and international research centers.
• Work experience in contracts associated with research tasks related to the research experience described below.

• Required Languages: Spanish and English at an oral and written level (Certificate of English C1).
• Required Research Experience (years of research experience): 1-4

• Demonstrable experience in Bioinformatics
• Experience of at least 2 years (preferably in academic environments).
• Experience processing and analysing omics data (sc-RNA-seq, etc.).
• Experience using genome viewers (Genome Browser, IGV, or others) is preferrable
• Experience in R or Python scripting will be considered as a plus.
