The University of Barcelona offers a pre-doctoral contract to work in the frame of Life Terra project (LIFE19 CCM/NL/001200 - LIFE Terra.),

Europe's single biggest citizen-driven initiative to plant and monitor 500 million trees to mitigate climate Change, under the supervision of

professor Dr Santi Sabaté. The candidate will develop the research project “Climate change awareness and mitigation actions through

tree-planting initiatives: bridging science knowledge to society” and will be assigned to the supervisor’s department of Evolutionary Biology,

Ecology and Environmental Sciences (Ecology section), at the University of Barcelona.

Main tasks involved:

· Support coordination and actions of UB related to the implementation of the project Life Terra.

· Elaborate, collect, and analyse indicators to evaluate transfer actions to citizens.

· Communication between different project’s expertise and knowledge transfer to society.

- Collaboration with actions with primary and secondary schools, as well as other citizen groups involved in Life Terra Project actions.

The pre-doctoral contract would run over a maximum of four years. Further information at the application website.
