Mission: 

Carrying out research and management tasks, and supporting research in the development of intelligent decision support systems for quality improvement in the manufacturing industry, within the framework of the European “knowlEdge” project. He/She will participate in the design, implementation and/or documentation of software modules within the framework of the different deliverables in the tasksassigned to UPC in the project, mainly WP2, WP7 and WP8.

Functions: 

  • Participate in the exploration and documentation of the panorama of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies related to the industrial sector of manufacturing and identify emerging trends in AI that may have an impact on the industrial sector, through the systematic and periodic review of existing publications and reports
  • Participate in the design, implementation and documentation of a component/module for a pilot case study within the project
  • Participate in meetings (face-to-face and/or virtual) with members of the knowlEdge project and, where required, support the organization of meetings in charge of UPC
  • Participate in the writing of scientific articles derived from the activities developed
