Our research lines focus on the newly-discovered physical and chemical properties that arise from the behaviour of matter at the nanoscale. ICN2 has been awarded with the Severo Ochoa Center of Excellence distinction for three consecutive periods (2014-2018 and 2018-2022 and 2023-2026). ICN2 comprises 20 Research Groups, 7 Technical Development and Support Units and Facilities, and 2 Research Platforms, covering different areas of nanoscience and nanotechnology.
Job Title: People Development Support Officer (internship contract for recent graduates)
Department: Human Resources Department
Description of Group/Project: The mission of ICN2's Human Resources Department is to help make the institute an attractive and inclusive research centre for both our current members and the global scientific community, in line with the centre's mission and values.

Main Tasks and responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding
- Job posting and dissemination of job positions
- Support recruitment processes
- Onboardings
- Exit Interviews
- Training
- Support the organization and dissemination of training activities
- Register the activities and attendance in our training platform
- People Development
- Support the People Development team in strategic projects like the PhD Programme, Postdoc Programme, and other career development related initiatives
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Labour Relations, Business Administration, or another HR‑related field. Postgraduate education in Human Resources will be valued.
(Due to contract requirements, candidates must have finished their degree in the last three years)
- Knowledge: High level of English is essential. Spanish and Catalan too. Knowledge of microsoft office: excel, word, etc.
- Professional Experience: Previous experience in an HR Department will be valued, specifically in a scientific research environment.
- Personal Competences: We are looking for a proactive, organized, and collaborative person, with a genuine interest in people and strong motivation to learn and grow.
Summary of conditions:
- Full time work (37,5h/week)
- Contract Length: 1 year
- 28 vacation days per year
- Location: Bellaterra (Barcelona)
- Salary will depend on qualifications and demonstrated experience.
