1. School Overview

The School of Basic Medical Sciences, an integral part of the Health Science Center since its inception in 1954, has evolved into a leading center for basic medical education and research institution in China. It comprises 16 departments (institutes), housing national key laboratories among other internationally advanced research bases and technical platforms. The school is renowned for its strong faculty, gathering numerous well-known scholars from both home and abroad, including 6 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering, 20 recipients of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and 18 recipients of the Excellent Young Scientists Fund. The school publishes over 400 scientific research papers annually, including top-tier journal articles in Science, Nature, Cell, NEJM, Nature Medicine, etc. To accelerate the "Double First-Class" construction, we are eager to attract more outstanding talents to join and promote the development of the School of Basic Medical Sciences at Peking University Health Science Center. The faculty positions adopt the Tenure-track system, offering generous support in research start-up funds, laboratory conditions, research team, and compensation.

2. Recruiting Disciplines:

The School of Basic Medical Sciences at Peking University is openly recruiting high-level leading talents in various fields of biomedicine, with a focus on pathology, microcirculation, biochemistry, embryology and development, neuroscience, etc.

3. Application Requirements:

Holding a doctoral degree from home or abroad with a solid research training background, having obtained a tenure-track associate professorship or above in leading universities abroad or a senior professional title in domestic key research institutions;

Achieving highly impact representative research outcomes in the relevant research fields with ongoing active academic performance, possessing an international perspective and strategic thinking for discipline development, capable of leading the discipline;

Priority appointment for recipients of talent programs
