Line of research 'Mercury contamination in peat bogs in Galicia' (PIESP-0036), of the specific research programme Human activity and environmental change.
Indefinite-term contract for scientific and technical activities, pursuant to article 23 is of Law 14/2011, of June 1, on science, technology and innovation.
Study of mercury in environmental archives. Study of other metals. Analysis of pollen associated with environmental samples. Data processing. Writing of scientific articles.

Specific Requirements

Bachelor's degree in History, Biology, or similar one: 30 points
coordination and collaboration in R+D+i activities with regional, national or international funding, linked to the field of paleocontamination by metals: 15 points
Relevant scientific publications on palaeoenvironment with special mention of those related to palaeo-pollution, or mining-metallurgy in the past.: 15 points
Accredited work experience in pollen analysis of archaeological samples and/or geochemical data: 15 points
Personal interview. The interview will be held only for the candidates with the highest scores who, in the sum of the rest of the merits, obtain a minimum of 50 points.: 25 points

Gross monthly salary: 2.209,00 € The special payments shall be prorated over 12 monthly instalments.
Duration of the contract: Indefinite
Workday    Full-time: (35.0 hours per week) 10:00-14:00 and 16:00-19:00 h.
