Call for applications: Laboratory Assistant
The Energy Storage group of IREC announces two 6-month Laboratory Assistant positions for highly motivated candidates to work on electrochemical and catalytic routes to transform water and CO2 into value-added products within the CERES project: Catalysts, Electrodes and Reactors for ElectroSynthesis. The candidate will carry out multidisciplinary activities related to the synthesis, characterization and evaluation of electrocatalytic materials in (photo)electrochemical set-ups.
The candidates must have bachelor and master degrees in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science or equivalent. Previous experience in synthesis and characterization of materials (electrodeposition, wet-synthesis methods, XRD, SEM, FTIR), and testing of electrochemical and/or catalytic devices will be very valuable for the positions. Good verbal and written communication skills in English are required.

Salaries will be paid in accordance with the IREC’s salary policy, depending on the candidate’s qualification and professional experience.
