Offer Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing basic and advanced molecular biology techniques. He/she will perform RNA/DNA extraction techniques, fragmentation and generation of libraries for NGS, NanoString, PCRs, sample processing, cutting, histochemical, immunohistochemical and immunofluorescence staining and in situ hybridisation, RNAScope, as well as pyrosequencing and TMAs.

 

-Research area: IIS-FJD; Pathology Department; Lymphoma Unit; Full-time position (40h/week)

Skills/Qualifications

-Advanced Training Degree in Pathology and Cytology.

-Experience in laboratory management: organization of blocks and preparations, archive maintenance, general laboratory maintenance and cleaning, preparation of reagents and solutions, etc.

- Sample management. Data manager. -Experience in support services for research groups.

-Experience in molecular biology techniques.

-Experience in automated immunohistochemistry techniques on various platforms (Dako, VentanaRoche).

-User level in conventional computer tools (Microsoft Office, Internet). - Intermediate English level. B2.
