We offer one position for a student/junior researcher in electronic sensor technology.
The core idea of this project is to produce an ultra-low power gas sensor based on microLED technology, suitable for remote environmental monitoring and autonomous operation (energy harvesting, wireless communications). The development combines semiconductor microtechnology (blue GaN LEDs), sensor material processing (colorimetric inks) and accurate device test.
The person will be dedicated to
- Device fabrication
- Electronic test of devices and sensor calibration.
- Integration of devices in IoT systems.
Some experience in applied research is expected, e.g. laboratory work, electronic instruments, materials characterization.
Possibility to carry out a PhD related to this work.
Project duration: 3 years + 1 year of possible extension
