Offer Description

La Fundación de Investigación Biomédica del Hospital Universitario de la Princesa is announcing a position for a Higher Education Graduate for the role of Clinical Trials Coordinator for the Research Unit of the Neurology Service under the direction of Dr. Lydia López Manzanares.

Regarding the main tasks to be performed:

•  Organizing schedules to appoint selected patients.
•  Support to the research team under the supervision of the principal investigator.
•  Ensure, along with the PI, the proper execution and follow-up of the assigned clinical trial within the established timelines and quality.
•  Coordination and communication between the promoter and the research team, as well as with the rest of the involved team.
•  Maintenance and management of documentation related to the clinical trial.
•  Filling in information in the data collection notebook: data entry, recording of adverse events, resolving queries.
•  Regular contacts with personnel assigned by the study promoter to keep patient information and visits up to date, as well as to attend monitoring visits.
•  Randomization with IVRS.

Specific Requirements

EXPERIENCE
• Experience in the coordination, management, and supervision of various essential tasks related to patients participating in clinical trials in the area of Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders.
• Experience in processing biological samples and preparing them for shipment.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Proficiency with smartphones, digital watches, and other digital biomarkers in CCTs like PD holter (STAT-ON)
• Good Clinical Practice course
• IATA
• Proficiency in eCRF platforms.
• Advanced office software skills.
• Linguistic competence: ability to understand and communicate in English

Eligibility criteria

Scale: The evaluation criteria for this offer are as follows, up to a maximum of 15 points:
• Advanced office software skills. (Up to 2 points)
• Proficiency with smartphones, digital watches, and other digital biomarkers in CCTs like PD holter (STAT-ON) (up to 3 points)
• IATA (1 Point)
• Good Clinical Practice course. (1 point)
• Proficiency in eCRF platforms. (1 point)
• English linguistic competence - (B2-1 point / C1 or higher-2 points)
• Personal interview: up to a maximum of 5 points.

Selection process

Applications that meet the degree requirement and are submitted within the call's timeframe will be examined by a jury composed of three members (a president and two members).
A curricular assessment will be conducted on the received applications, where a score will be assigned to candidates based on the merits presented according to the requirements requested for the position.
Subsequently, candidates may be called for a personal interview.
