Offer Description

Non-invasive brain neurostimulation (NIBS) in populations with Mild Cognitive Impairment and Alzheimer's Disease.
This line is pending approval, so the award and formalisation of the contract is subject to final authorisation and the existence of credit.
Indefinite-term contract for scientific and technical activities, pursuant to article 23 is of Law 14/2011, of June 1, on science, technology and innovation.
Conducting neuropsychological, psychophysiological (EEG) and neurostimulation (TMS-EEG) assessments on participants. Implementing cognitive intervention sessions through computerized tasks and transcranial electrical stimulation. Participant management (recruitment, appointments, follow-up). performing statistical analyses, interpreting results, and disseminating findings (scientific articles, conference presentations).

Skills/Qualifications

Master's Degree in Neurosciences or Psychology or Psychogerontology: 10 points
PhD in Neuroscience or Psychology, in the Cognitive Neuroscience field: 20 points
Scientific publications in the field of cognitive neuroscience of ageing: 17 points
Accredited work experience in electroencephalography (EEG), magnetic resonance (MR) and/or non-invasive brain stimulation techniques (NIBS): 15 points
International stays in foreign research centres, related to EEG, RM and/or NIBS: 15 points
Participation, contributions and collaboration in scientific congresses with content in the field of cognitive neuroscience of ageing.: 6 points
Personal interview. The interview will be held only for the candidates with the highest scores who, in the sum of the rest of the merits, obtain a minimum of 50 points.: 17 points

Benefits

Gross monthly salary: 2.219,74 €  The special payments shall be prorated over 12 monthly instalments.
Duration of the contract: Indefinite
Expected start date: The day following the resolution of the contract award
Workday    Full-time: (35.0 hours per week) 09:00-14:00 and 16:30-18:30 h.
