-Caracterización microscópica y mecánica de muestras de material
-Análisis de los resultados mecánicos obtenidos y aplicación y desarrollo de modelos de material.
-Mantenimiento y manejo del equipamiento a usar.

-Microscopic and mechanical characterization of material samples.
-Analysis of the mechanical data obtained and development and application of material models. 
-Maintenance and management of the equipment to use.

Skills/Qualifications

-Conocimiento básico de aleaciones (microestructura, propiedades mecánicas) 
-Capacidad de entender documentos en inglés y comunicarse en inglés. 
-Capacidad de manejo de programas de office.
-Conocimiento de algún lenguaje de programación (e.g., python, Matlab)
*Se valorarán preferentemente candidatos con titulación en Ingeniería de Materiales, Ingenierías Mecánicas o Ingeniería Industrial.  Valorable positivamente el conocimiento previo sobre uso de Abaqus.

-Basic knowledge of alloys (microstructure, mechanical properties)
-Ability to understand documents in English and communicate in English.
-Ability to manage office programs.
-Knowledge of some programming language (e.g., python, Matlab)
*Candidates with a degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering will be preferred. Previous knowledge on the use of Abaqus is positively valued.

Specific Requirements

-Conocimiento o experiencia previa con conceptos básicos de mecánica de materiales y de caracterización mecánica de materiales (ensayos a tracción).
-Conocimientos o experiencia previa en caracterización mecánica de aleaciones.
-Conocimiento básico en herramientas de diseño CAD.

-Knowledge or previous experience with basic concepts of mechanics of materials and mechanical characterization of materials (tensile tests).
-Knowledge or previous experience in mechanical characterization of alloys.
