Definir instrumentación, desarrollar sistema de registro de datos, crear metodología automática de evaluación y crear aplicación de análisis para la evaluación del estado de rodamientos ferroviarios en operación, optimizando el momento de sustitución, así como evaluar las condiciones de seguridad y confort de la dinámica del vehículo ferroviario.

Define instrumentation, develop data recording system, create automatic evaluation methodology and create analysis application for the evaluation of the state of railway bearings in operation, optimizing the moment of replacement, as well as evaluate comfort and seafety in ride dynamics of the rail vehicle.

Skills/Qualifications

Se valorarán las siguientes habilidades:
• Manejo de software de simulación multicuerpo Simpack
• Manejo avanzado de Matlab, incluyendo programación y creación de interfaz.
• Manejo software de diseño de placas PCB de circuitos electrónicos.
• Manejo de plataformas de programación: C++, Simulink, Arduino.
• Manejo de software de procesamiento de datos Statgraphics.
• Manejo de técnicas no intrusivas de diagnóstico de equipos mecánicos

The following skills will be valued:
• Handling of  multibody simulation software Simpack
• Advanced handling of Matlab, including programming and interface creation.
• Handling electronic circuit PCB board design software.
• Programming platforms: C++, Simulink, Arduino.
• Handling of Statgraphics data processing software.
• Handling of non-intrusive diagnostic techniques for mechanical equipment.

Specific Requirements

Experiencia práctica en los siguientes campos:
* Instrumentación y medida para sistemas CBM mecánicos, especialmente con rodamientos.
* Diseño de experimentos 
* Creación y gestión de base de datos
* Desarrollo de metodología de análisis de datos  y evaluación
* Desarrollo de sistemas de diagnóstico automático.
* Dinámica ferroviaria

Practical experience in the following fields:
* Instrumentation and measurement for mechanical CBM systems, especially with bearings.
* Experiment design 
* Creation and management of data bases
* Development of data analysis and evaluation methodology
* Development of automatic diagnostic systems.
* Railway dynamics
