OFFER DESCRIPTION

Mission: 

The aim of this position is the analysis of the mobility data provided by the telemètric system of battery electric buses (BEB). These data will be used for developing an energy consumption model of these vehicles with regard to the bus route attributes (slope, stop location, demand, weather conditions).

Functions:

• Preparation of data files to be read and manipulated by ad hoc programs developed in Python or R-studio. These data files will be provided by bus operators
• Bus trajectory estimation along the route from LOC files. Estimation of energy consumption factors in different time periods (statistical analysis)
• Simulation of the bus motion aong the route and correlation models with energy consumption
