THE BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF MÁLAGA NEEDS TO HIRE A SUBSTITUTE PROFESSIONAL WITH THE FOLLOWING PROFILE A RESEARCHER WITH A GRADUATE OR A GRADUATE WITH A MASTER'S GRADUATE FOR A REPLACEMENT CONTRACT .

Project: RD21/0016/0012_RESEARCH NETWORK IN CHRONICITY, PRIMARY CARE AND HEALTH PROMOTION (RICAPPS)”

Research Network on Chronicity, Primary Care and Health Promotion

(RICAPPS)

Financed by the Ministry of Science and Innovation, Carlos III Health Institute and by the European Funds of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.

Functions to be developed :

• Management of different projects belonging to the SAMSERAP group: Expense control and team coordination.
• Database management:
  • Data computerization
  • Basic statistical analyzes and advanced statistical analyses: internal and external validation of risk algorithms (C-index and calibration graphs), multilevel regressions, multiple imputations and meta-regressions. Perform bibliographic searches in relational databases and their application for meta-analysis and network meta-analysis.
• Research field work with physical, cognitive and mental health evaluations of patients and availability to do them in recruitment centers of the SAMSERAP research group in Malaga, Seville, Jaén and Granada.
• Dissemination of study results
  • Preparation of scientific reports on the results of the projects.
  • Writing manuscripts to publish in international journals with Impact Factor.
  • Presentation and dissemination of study results at scientific events.
• Attendance at research team meetings

Minimum requirements :

• Required qualification: Graduate, Graduates with a Degree ≥ 300 ECTS assigned to Level 3 (Master); Graduates with a Master's degree (≥300 ECTS) in Psychology, Medicine, Nursing, sports sciences and physical activity or Sociology.

Valuable Requirements (score out of 7 points) :

• Accredited master's degree in research (1.5 points)
• Training stays in research centers of excellence abroad (1 point, 0.33 points every 3 months)
• Experience in managing databases and statistical packages (up to 0.5 point).
• Experience in managing bibliographic databases to carry out systematic reviews and meta-analyses (up to 0.5 point)
• Scientific publications in international journals indexed with IF (1 point, 0.20/publication)
• Publications in international conferences (0.5 points, 0.1/conference).
• Experience in the evaluation and analysis of physical activity and sleep through monitoring with accelerometers (up to 1 point)
• Accredited English level (B2-C1): 0.5 points
• Knowledge-training in clinical psychology and psychiatry (up to 0.5 point).

The aforementioned requirements must be accredited by means of a certificate from a competent body or a responsible declaration.

Contract details :

• Hiring modality:  Contract to replace the worker.
• Location: Civil Hospital Pavilion 5. 2nd Floor
• Gross annual remuneration: €28,933.35
• Time: Full (35H)
• Duration: The length of time the absence of the replaced worker with the right to reserve the job lasts.
• Category: MASTER (Bachelor's Degree, Graduates with a Degree ≥ 300 ECTS assigned to Level 3 (Master's Degree); Graduates with a Master's Degree (≥300 ECTS).

Selection process :

-Based on the points obtained in the merit assessment, at least the three best candidates will be selected to carry out a personal interview in which communication skills, aptitude for work and skills will be assessed, with a maximum of 3 points. Only those candidates who obtain at least 50% of the evaluable merit points will be eligible for the interview phase.

-After the resolution of the position and in the event that the selected candidate renounces the contract, the hiring table may decide to decide in favor of the next candidate according to the list of scores.
