We offer an exciting position within the Eramus + project TEODOR Funded by EU.

Organ donation and transplantation has become an established practice, bringing considerable benefits to thousands of patients in Europe and worldwide every year. The shortage of organs for transplant was observed in each EU Member State and has been the main challenge to address in organ transplantation

TEODOR project proposes a sustainable and innovative training in organ donation and transplantation for relevant healthcare personnel in Baltic regions (Latvia and Lithuania) and Central Europe (Czech Republic). The project is led by Pauls Stradins Clinical University Hospital (Latvia), with the collaboration and expertise of

Spanish and Swedish partners. We are looking for highly motivated candidates with a Pedagogical background

The candidate will develop the following tasks and functions:

  • be the first point of contact for the partner coordinator, partners in the project and external stakeholders;
  • conducting technical tasks arising on a day-to-day basis that are necessary to ensure the smooth-running of the project;
  • organizing project meetings and coordinating follow up of action points;
  • ensure the correct development of the technical reports
  • ensure the compliance of the main goals of the project activities
  • monitor and review methodologies, interprets the results and assesses result compliance
  • deliver reports to ensure that standards are achieved
  • evaluate through the assessment tools designed

As educational specialists, you are responsible for the day-to-day technical development of the project. Taking into account the needs and requirements of the funding agency, you will work in close collaboration with the partner coordinator, project leaders and other team members, as well as other support staff. You will support the development of pedagogical contents of the project as well as create the analysis of the evaluative report based on the results obtained: academic performance and degree of satisfaction of students, teachers, coordinators and managers as well as the analysis of compliance with the schedule, application of corrective measures and modification proposals.

The candidate shall demonstrate:

  • Experience in the design and development of pedagogical contents
  • Experience in the design and development of workshops
  • Experience in research and analysis
  • Experience in training activities
  • Experience in monitoring and verification of the educational processes implemented within the project along with the pool of experts and the educational team involved in the specialized programme

The candidate must have excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills, a proactive attitude and ability to work independently and in a high-performance team. Coordination skills and problem-solving skills are also required.

Due to multiple collaborations within the project with consortium partners from Europe and the need to produce technical reports, advanced oral and writing English knowledge is required.
