Offer Description

Research line L1 Non-natural metalloenzymes: organometallic catalysis in the cellular environment of the Specific Research Programme Biological and supramolecular chemistry.
This line is pending approval, so the award and formalisation of the contract is subject to its definitive authorisation and the existence of credit.
Indefinite-term contract for scientific and technical activities, pursuant to article 23 is of Law 14/2011, of June 1, on science, technology and innovation.
Design and synthesis of a set of metal-based entities for the evaluation of their biological activity, Improvement of synthetic routes for the synthesis of biocompatible metal catalysts, Mechanistic insights and application at the cellular level for these metal-based entities.

PhD in Organic Chemistry: 20 points
Academic record, average mark: 10 points
Acknowledged working experience in organic synthesis, organometallic complexes chemistry, chemical biology and cell biology: 15 points
Contribution in peer reviewed publications (Q1/D1). Fields: organic synthesis, organometallic chemistry and chemical biology: 15 points
Communications to scientific conferences, meetings and symposiums. Fields: organic synthesis, organometallic chemistry and chemical biology: 7 points
Research stays at excellence research institutions. Fields: organic synthesis, organometallic chemistry and chemical biology: 8 points
Personal interview. The interview will be held only for the candidates with the highest scores who, in the sum of the rest of the merits, obtain a minimum of 50 points.: 25 points

Benefits

Gross monthly salary: 2.219,74 € The special payments shall be prorated over 12 monthly instalments.
Duration of the contract: Indefinite.
Expected start date: The day following the resolution of the contract award.
Workday    Full-time (35.0 hours per week) 09:30-13:30 and 16:00-19:00 h.
