Academic degree:
Degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Biology or similar)
Requirements:
A degree in Biology, biotechnology or another bioscience-related degree obtained after January 1st of 2020 with an average grade higher than 8.
A Master degree
Will also be considered:
- Minimum of one year experience in laboratory bench, cellular and molecular biology, pharmacogenetics, hematology or related fields.
- At least one record of authorship / co-authorship in scientific publications in the area of biomedicine, especially in hematology.
- Additional education courses or workshops.
- Contributions to congresses and conferences will be an asset
- Experience in sequencing NGS (DNAseq, RNAseq) and transcriptomics analysis, gene editing by CRISPR-Cas9 system and functional studies of apoptosis, cell cycle, proliferation and drug response in cell lines.
- Good English communication skills
Functions:
Performance of laboratory techniques necessary for the analysis of samples by genetic and molecular techniques. Sanger and NGS sequencing.
Mutational and transcriptomic analysis of sample sequencing results.
Determine the clinical impact and analyze the effect of genetic alterations identified by NGS on pathogenesis and response to treatment in CLL, applying CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing methodology and performing functional studies.
- Required Languages: English and Spanish.
