SACSIS is selecting a competitive candidate for applying a Marie Curie PF grant at the Ciencia da Computacion e Intelixencia Artificial Group in the A Coruña University  (A Coruña, Spain):

‍Research path 1. AR/VR Advanced Rendering Technology.  ExploringGPU-based acceleration techniques to facilitate the adoption of

advanced rendering techniques, i.e. global illumination for volume rendering through path-tracing, as part of VR/AR applications deployed

on Head Mounted Displays (HMDs). Study temporal and spatial multi-view coherence, acceleration structures, novel UX/UI interface designs

devoted for AR/VR.

• Research path 2. Procedural Data Augmentation. A candidate in this research line will explore solutions related to data

  augmentation techniques that leverage on deep learning techniques for texture or style transfer, unsupervised domain adaptation, improved semantic segmentation, hybrid generative models aimed to generate new annotated datasets.

DISCLAIMER: We are selecting a candidate to prepare a Marie Curie PF grant, which deadline is September 14th, 2022, this is not a direct Post Doc position offer. If the fellowship is granted the candidate will be joining the Research Group in 2023. The selected candidate will receive specialized training and support in writing the Marie Curie proposal for the Postdoctoral Fellowship call .
