Offer Description

VHIR offers a Scientific Clinical Monitor position looking for a self-motivated person with experience in clinical research and/or clinical trial data monitoring.

Main responsibilities and duties:

  • Supporting CRFs and variables dictionaries development
  • Coordinating and executing all aspects of the clinical monitoring process in accordance with good clinical practice and regulatory requirements (such as data entry, queries resolution, and data curation)
  • Training and supporting clinical research personnel at collaborating sites in protocol procedures and implementation
  • Reviewing data collection for accuracy and completeness
  • Monitoring reports of the project status
  • Identifying problems in protocol implementation
  • Reviewing/solving regulatory issues
  • Interfacing with clinical investigators, medical staff, management, lab technicians, and informaticians
  • Reporting ongoing work and site-level problems to the Scientific Project Manager and project coordinators
  • Traveling to collaborating sites (if needed)

  • Bachelor’s degree in science

  • More than 4 years of experience in clinical research and/or clinical trials data monitoring
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to work under deadlines
  • Ability to work with human study participants
  • Proficient in word processing and database applications
  • Knowledge of auditing
  • Knowledge of good clinical practice and regulatory requirements (i.e. personal data protection)
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
