THE MÁLAGA BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE AND NANOMEDICINE PLATFORM NEEDS TO HIRE A PROFESSIONAL WITH THE FOLLOWING PROFILE: BACHELOR IN HEALTH SCIENCES.

Principal Investigator: Mª José Torres Jaén.

Place of Conduct: Group D-04 Allergic Diseases to Drugs and Allergens of IBIMA BIONAND Platform / Regional University Hospital of Málaga.

Project: Development of a photonic point of care device for multiplexed detection of biomarkers, tryptase, IL-6, and PAF in the events of hypersensitivity during oncological or biological agent administration, and anesthesia. Project CPP2022-009994 funded by MICIU/AEI /10.13039/501100011033 and by the European Union NextGenerationEU/ PRTR.



Functions to develop:

  • Analysis and selection of biomolecules, biomarkers and proteomic and metabolomic detection techniques.
  • Coordination of detection studies of protein-type biomarkers in serum, blood, cell cultures, etc. samples.
  • Proof of concept studies for clinical validation of different diagnostic platforms with biological samples from allergic patients.
  • Data analysis (R, Graphpad, statistical analysis).

Minimum requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree or university graduate with a degree of at least 300 ECTS credits or graduate with a university master's degree with at least 300 ECTS credits, in the branch of knowledge of Health Sciences.

Valuable Requirements :

  • Demonstrable professional experience in research laboratories in the functions to be developed: 0.5 points per year up to a maximum of 2 points.
  • Demonstrable professional experience in proteomic or metabolomic techniques for the detection of biomarkers: 0.5 points per year up to a maximum of 2 points.
  • Participation in research projects: 0.5 points per project up to a maximum of 1 point.
  • Complementary training to the job: 0.5 points per training up to a maximum of 1 point.
  • Advanced English level (B2 or higher): 1 point.

The aforementioned requirements must be accredited by means of a certificate from a competent body or a responsible declaration.

Contract details :

  • Hiring modality: Fixed-term employment contract within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
  • Category: Level 3 MECES: Master (Technical).
  • Location: HRUM – IBIMA BIONAND Platform.
  • Gross annual remuneration: €27,836.
  • Time: Full time (35 hours per week).
  • Estimated duration: 29 months – The contract is linked to the duration of the project / activity / financing.

Selection process :

  • After the resolution of the position and in the event that the selected candidate resigns from the contract, the hiring table may decide to decide in favor of the next candidate according to the list of scores.
