The successful candidate will support the research work of the team in the Balzan Prize as researcher and part-time coordinator.
Support the coordination of the Balzan Prize at ICTA- UAB (management, reportings and dissemination). Research in political
ecology and publications. Engagement with the coordination of the EJAtlas, plus contributions and moderation of cases. Preparation of
new reserach projects in the field of political ecology.
Job position requirements (skills/languages/required experience)
Phd degree required at the time of appointment in the fields related to environmental sciences or socio-environmental sciences.More
than 1 years of post-doctoral experience will be positivelly valued.
Excellent English and Russian skills required. Spanish positivelly valued
Familiarity with Ejatlas and environmental conflict studies and cultural vàlues.Previous research in East Europe, the Arctic, Russia Federation or/and Central Asia.
Knowledge on the fields of political ecology and Environmental Justice and publication . Experience conducting research on
environmental conflicts.
