Job position requirements (skills/languages/required experience):

The successful applicant must have:

• Double degree in Chemistry and Physics, Degree in Chemistry or Degree in Physics

• Master of Chemistry (specializing in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry), or Master of Astrophysics and Cosmology

• Doctor, specializing in computational chemistry.

• IT skills: Mac, Linux and / or Windows operating Systems knowledge and Basic / advanced office programming

• English Language: fluent (minimum level B2)

Previous experience in Computational Chemistry and/or Astrochemistry will be valued.

Knowledge of relevant program languages will be appreciated.

Excellent track record (i.e., publications, congress presentations, and stays at foreign laboratories) are expected, as well as a high level of written and spoken English-minimum B2.

Other languages will be valued.

Team work ability is essential.

Benefits: 1 year contract.

Gross salary: 25000€

Elegibility Criteria:

Two stages:

1st Curriculum Vitae evaluation. On a 100 scale :

• Academic record - 45 (PhD degree- 30; Master degree- 15)

• Publications and congress presentations - 20 (Publications- 15; presentations- 5)

• IT Skills - 10

• Other Merits –10 (reference letters, stays abroad, otherlanguages, motivational letter, courses, etc.)

• Work experience - 15 (experience in theoretical and computational chemistry- 10, experience in Astrochemistry- 5)

Minimum score to pass 1st stage : 85

2nd Virtual interview (only for candidates who pass 1st stage).
