I. Overview of the Laboratory and Research Group
The State Key Laboratory of Oncology in South China at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center is ranked as the top cancer research center in China. The Sun Yat-sen Cancer Center operates on a highly collaborative platform that bridges basic and clinical research. The NeuroImmunology Laboratory (NIL Lab) focuses on directions in the neuroimmunological aspects of cancer stem cells:
1. Molecular target therapy and immunotherapy of cancer stem cells.
2. Neurological signaling network and interventions of cancer stem cells.
3. Immunological rhythmic pattern induced by psychobehavioral alteration.
Recently the NIL Lab has published over 160 research papers in renowned journals such as Nature Medicine, Nature Structural & Molecular Biology, Journal of Clinical Oncology, Cell Research, Immunity, Cancer Cell, Nature Communications, Journal of Clinical Investigation, Blood and PNAS.
II. Position and Qualifications
The NIL Lab is currently recruiting for positions of Associate/Assistant Professor/Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the following areas:
1. Cancer neuroimmunology
2. Cancer stem cell biology
3. Small molecule drug design and synthesis
Qualifications:
Priority will be given to candidates with a strong publication record in immunology or neuroscience area.
III. Salary and Benefits
1. The annual salary ranges from 350,000 to 600,000 RMB, including social insurance and housing provident fund.
2. Outstanding performance with high-level publication is qualify for permanent position in the cancer center.
