Job description:
- Forming and updating the syllabi and adjusting university and higher education programs according to the requirements,
- Organizing or co-organizing all activities for the realization of the course in accordance with the syllabi and expert findings and coordination of work and supervising other teachers (assistants, technical and other co-workers) of the same course,
- Teaching, i.e. lecturing, managing seminars and other pedagogical activities of the course,
- Managing, evaluating, and correcting exams and tests,
- Mentoring students at final study papers,
- Participation at other study activities of students and supervising students’ seminars, MA and PhD theses, and other works,
- Scientific research, study and development of concepts, theories, and methods,
- Ensure the safe and healthy of workers and students of the unit, the proper education and training of persons encountering dangerous substances, the use of personal protective equipment and other safety measures,
- Performing other tasks that are substantively within the broader field of work.

Skills/Qualifications
Requirements
- Doctor of Science (PhD) (marital and family therapy, psychology etc.)
- Valid habilitation academic title of the University of Ljubljana: Assistant professor /Associate professor/Full Professor in the field of psychology of religion and pastoral care or an academic title of another institution, under the condition that this title can be recognized in the process of recognizing at the University of Ljubljana or the title of guest professor at the University of Ljubljana or the fulfilment of the conditions for obtaining the “habilitation” of university teacher (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor in the field of the psychology of religion and pastoral care. In this case, together with the application, it is necessary to submit proofs of compliance with the quantitative and qualitative criteria for the election to the academic title or for the recognition of the title in accordance with the criteria. The candidate must also enclose a statement that he/she agrees that in the event of a positive decision of the selection board, his/her application is also considered as an application for his/her election to the title or for recognition of the title. The title must be obtained before the signing of the employment contract.
- productive knowledge of the Slovenian language at B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). If the selected candidate fails to meet this condition at the time of the job placement, he must complete it not later than within three years from the date of employment.

Desired additional knowledge or education:
- Specialization in marriage and family therapy
- Experience in researching and teaching in the psychology of religion and pastoral care
- Experience in researching and teaching religious themes in relationships and the family
- Experience in teaching and researching the promotion and prevention of healthy interpersonal relationships, primarily from the perspective of religion and pastoral care.
- Additional education and experience in researching and teaching various therapeutic models, approaches, and methods of individual and family treatment, as well as issues related to religion within them.
- Qualifications for conducting relational family therapy.
