Offer Description

We are seeking candidates interested in working as a postdoctoral researcher at the highly research-oriented University of Nova Gorica . The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and interdisciplinary environment, supported by the latest research equipment and including direct involvement in the international research arena.

The research work will be carried out as part of the Sustainable Digital Preservation of the Slovenian New Media Art project (https://digitalna-hramba.mg-lj.si ).

Eligible candidates should have:

  • PhD in theory and history of media art, digital humanities, or related fields,
  • the ability to work independently,
  • good orientation in the wider field of humanities and social sciences,
  • good communication and organizational skills, project work skills,
  • good language (written and spoken) skills of academic and professional expression in English and Slovenian (optional, highly preferred), mastery of an appropriate set of digital tools and work environments.

The start of work is planned immediately after the end of the selection process. The employment is part-time (50%), for a fixed period until 31 October 2024.
