Offer Description

• preparation and implementation of lectures and seminars and implementation of other forms of direct teaching work defined by the UP acts (at the extent of one course per year)
• coordination and supervision of other lecturers; knowledge examination of students in course-specific areas in accordance with course syllabi and with the findings of experts in the field,
• mentoring and co-mentoring students who are writing their final theses in accordance with the UP acts,
• cooperation in the formation and modernisation of course syllabi for course-specific areas; adaptation of study programmes and of their implementation to the development of the field; planning and preparation of suitable study materials and literature,
• conduct of science and research activity; implementation of the results of the scientific and research work into the study process; cooperation in the activities related to the teaching, the scientific and the research work of the field,
• guidance of research and study activities of the students,

• conduct of consultations and office hours for the students,
• participation in the election procedures for faculty assistants and teachers at the UP,
• conduct of other scientific and development work,
• cooperation in the activities of the bodies, working bodies and commissions of the member or the University,
• performance of other tasks by order of the supervisors.

Specific Requirements

- the candidate must hold a title of Assistant Professor in Business Informatics (Higher education
teachers) or meet the criteria for this title (https://www.upr.si/en/about-university/regulationsand -
other-documents/internal-acts-of-the-up/ : Criteria for appointment to teaching, research and associate positions at the UP)
- computer skills,
- handling audiovisual equipment,
- the ability to work in a team,
-    organization skills
- the ability to give advice,
- independence,
- communicativeness,
- practical skills.

The candidate must be fluent in Slovenian language.
