The Health & Wellbeing (Office of the President) is responsible for the innovation, implementation and evaluation of health & wellbeing programmes which support the general NUS population, as well as specific employees whom are exposed to acute mentally-stressful events. As a Psychologist & Wellbeing Partner, you will provide clinical psychological support to individual employees and work with departmental leaders to enhance employees’ health and wellbeing. You will work with a team that is dynamic, fun, and most of all, passionate about supporting the health and wellbeing of our people.


This role is very unique in the industry, where you will have the opportunity to deliver mental health programmes with greater impact and from organisational perspective. Candidates should have a background in clinical psychology and a hunger to explore new ways of enhancing the mental health of our people. Corporate consultative experience in programme management, as well as solid negotiation and communication skills are highly desirable.


Job Description and Abilities:

• Provide evidence-based assessments and interventions (e.g. CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based approaches) to employees to enhance general wellbeing of the NUS community
• Provide clinical psychological assessments and interventions (e.g. Trauma-focused approaches) for at-risk employees exposed to acute, stressful events
• Assist in implementing clinical workflows and best practices, including quality and timely case management
• Design, implement and evaluate evidence-based psychological programmes to support and influence assigned departmental units’ approach to mental health
• Provide clinical psychological consultation and support or department units exposed to acute, stressful events
• Deliver trainings and workshop to help employees, managers and leaders manager mental health conversations in the workplace, thereby facilitating an inclusive and empathetic community in NUS
• Able to collaborate with other subject matter experts in achieving common mental health objectives


Desired Skills and Background:

• Masters or PhD degree in clinical psychology
• At least 2 years of experience working with individuals suffering from mental health conditions
• Embracing innovation in the way mental health is approached
• Eligible for registration with Singapore Register of Psychologists in Singapore (https://singaporepsychologicalsociety.org/singapore-register-of-psychologists/)
• Must demonstrate reasonable analytical, problem solving and project management skills
• Good interpersonal, strategic partnership, and influencing skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and implement projects involving cross-functional teams (e.g. HR, Health & Safety, Health Centre, Counseling Services, EAP vendor)
