The Wallenberg - NTU Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship, supported by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation, provides the opportunity for early career scientists, engineers and scholars from Singapore and around the world to conduct independent investigations at NTU and a Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program (WASP) research partner institution in Sweden.
The successful applicant will do independent research in this project with following research aims:
Lead the development of classification modules that improve model generalization using diffusion model
Perform relevant image processing/enhancement, learning-based algorithm design, and experimental validation.
Communicate the experimental results through publications in top-tiered conferences/journals
Develop online demo to showcase the usefulness of the developed modules in real-world scenarios
Competencies and qualification requirements
A PhD Degree in Computer Science/Engineering
Strong background in deep learning, machine learning, and/or image processing.
Candidates having relevant experiences in diffusion models are preferred.
Good communications skills and the ability to work independently and facilitate projects with minimal supervision.
Able to contribute to Journal/Conference papers with good presentation skills.
Able to plan and organize well and adhere to deadlines
