Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Economics and Data Science 

To foster interdisciplinary work between economics and mathematical sciences, the Schools of Social Sciences and Computer Science and Engineering at NTU have an opening for a joint position as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Economics and Data Science. We are looking for candidates with a strong Mathematics and Statistics background who are able to create new methods for understanding data arising in Economics applications. Substantial contributions to the development of the BSc program in Economics and Data Science are expected. This program is jointly offered by the School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE), School of Social Sciences (SSS), and School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS).

Selection will be based on evidence of potential for high-quality research and teaching. Relevant post-doctoral experience will be given consideration. Candidates should possess a Ph.D. 

The successful candidate is expected to teach and develop courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels, including General Education courses, as well as supervise graduate students and undergraduate projects.

Emoluments 

The Salary is competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The University offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package.
