The Luo lab in the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine at Nanyang Technological University (https://www.ntu.edu.sg/medicine ; https://blogs.ntu.edu.sg/dhlab/ ) is looking for one highly motivated, goal-driven, and team-oriented Temporary Research Assistant to join our collaborative team. Research in the lab is focused on understanding fundamental mechanisms of RNA virus replication and structure guided antiviral development using interdisciplinary approaches ranging from biochemistry, structural biology, virology and cell biology. NTU Institute of Structural Biology (https://www.ntu.edu.sg/nisb ) provides an excellent infrastructure for high-resolution cryo-EM/ET, X-ray crystallography, NMR and other biophysical equipment. We invite one RF to join the lab to conduct competitive research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the research projects.

  • Work with lab members to maintain laboratory in clean, safe, and productive state.

  • Menter junior lab members and students.

Key Competencies and Requirements:

  • Candidates should have a Bachelor’s or equivalent in any relevant fields of cell biology, virology or immunology.

  • Previous research experience or laboratory training in molecular cellular biology is desired but not essential.

  • Self-motivated and well-organized with good communication and technical skills.

  • Be able to work independently and collaborate effectively in a highly diverse and interdisciplinary team.
