Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated full-time/part-time student research intern to join the Centre for a period of 3-6 months to support the Centre in an ongoing research project on agricultural land abandonment and its climate change mitigation potential.
Qualifications
•Currently pursuing a degree programme. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply
•Background in environmental science, environmental economics, climate science or geography
•GIS/RS, spatial analysis skills, and/or programming skills (Matlab, R, Python) will be a plus
•Excellent writing skills as well as strong analytical aptitude and strong communication skills
•Ability to manage workload with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
•Highly self-motivated, able to work independently and a team player
•Passionate about climate change and the environment
•Willing to work flexible hours and take on extra duties as required
