Job Description

CONTINGENT STAFF (TOBACCO AND BEHAVIOURAL RESEARCH)

We are seeking two full-time contingent staff with expertise and backgrounds in public health, behavioural science, quantitative and/or qualitative research methods. Our research is focused on understanding individual and socio-cultural contexts of tobacco use (and/or exposure to secondhand smoke), with the aim of developing effective intervention strategies to promote smoking cessation among Singapore adult smokers.

Job Description:
The specific duties for the post include:
• Reviewing the relevant literature review
• Conducting in-depth interviews and/or focus groups
• Data collection/analysis of qualitative and/or quantitative data
• Preparation of scientific publications and conference presentations

Requirements:
- Experience in qualitative research methods (e.g., in-depth interviews or focus groups) and/or quantitative methods
- Experience in and enthusiastic about understanding health behaviour and behaviour change
- Self-motivated with an ability to work independently
