Job Description

The Design Thinking module takes on 1800 students a semester since August 2021. At the moment, we are at the 2nd run of the module starting Jan 2021. The module is shaped with blended learning, with half of the teaching and learning activities based on pre-recorded videos and animations. These digital media are not one-way lectures, but designed to walk students through hands-on activities. With that, the team has reviewed the module content and learning activities via student feedback, instructor feedback, and selective focus groups with students, and have come up with improvements that will require reworking of digital  media content. These changes will be executed as the module runs, segment by segment, and the improvements require more work to be done in the mid-year break.

The Design Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Improving, reworking, and adding new digital media content (video, animations and motion graphics) for the Design Thinking module.
  • Working with the core curriculum team in developing and scripting these improvements.
  • Assisting the module coordinator with organising the workflow and project management.
