Job Description

1. Media Relations

  • Work with the internal stakeholders to create value-added commentaries, media pitches and press releases related to faculty research, current affairs, corporate initiatives and events
  • Coordinate with corporate partners on joint announcements and events
  • Manage media queries with key stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Cultivate an expansive number of local and foreign media outlets
  • Handle issues / crisis communication

2. Manage publicity campaigns related to Indonesia/ASEAN

  • Develop and execute an integrated communications campaign to increase brand awareness
  • Coordinate with faculty, students and alumni on overseas media interviews, briefings and visits as well as production of digital assets for marketing purposes
  • Execute targeted digital ad campaign, where appropriate, to increase reach and share of voice amongst our targeted audiences

3. Coordinate the publicity initiatives related to NUS Business School’s 60th anniversary

  • Ideate and run the various anniversary-centric communications activities to engage the various internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with the central coordination and integration of engagement activities across the departments and programme offices

  • Tertiary Education, preferably a degree in mass communication, journalism, political / social science, English or business studies
  • At least 4 years of experience in Corporate Communications/PR/Marketing Communications
  • Good understanding of current affairs and media landscape and possess a strong ability to write effectively
  • Have proven experience in planning and executing publicity campaigns across various digital platforms
  • Meticulous, proactive and can think outside the box
  • Good interpersonal skills
