Job Description
To plan, analyse, develop and maintain business applications based on business users’ IT requirements and to provide technical support services to business users on the use of business applications.
You will be part of the dynamic team to deliver reliable, high quality and responsive user centric services.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Design and implement business applications and solutions that will meet users’ requirements.
• Provide post-implementation maintenance support and operation of business applications.
• Conduct technical feasibility study and analyse requirement specifications for new and enhancements to business applications
• Collaborate with teams to design and develop solutions including proof of concepts.
• Document and update technical design specifications.
• Ensure compliance with security, development and quality standards.
• Lead or participate in continual service improvement initiatives to provide benefits and better experience for business users.
• Manage tenders, quotations and other procurement processes as well as external vendors.
• Participate in the preparation and review of project tender specifications and contract agreements.
• Conduct or facilitate knowledge sharing on latest application development and emerging technology trends.
• Assist in the administration of IT resources and budget such as procurement of software licenses and maintenance renewal.
Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in application development and support with minimum 2 years of experience in project management
• Completed at least 2 rounds of SDLC in web development
• Good programming skill in one or more major programming language such as Java, Spring Framework, C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC
• Knowledge of web programming and integration tools such as HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, Bootstrap, Rest, JSON and XML would be an advantage
• Deep knowledge in Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) such as Oracle and SQL
• Knowledge of Salesforce is an advantage
• Strong business process, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assimilate information quickly, and able to communicate requirements and issues clearly and concisely. The ability to understand business questions that users are trying to get answered is essential
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of users and vendors
• A self-starter and able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Good team player, proactive in nature, fast learner, highly organised and possess positive attitude
