Senior Principal Research Scientist (Fintech Innovation and Commercialization)

The NTU-WeBank Joint Research Centre On FinTech invites applications for the position of Senior Principal Research Scientist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to drive fintech innovation and commercialization.

• Engage with key stakeholders including financial institutions and industry partners.

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with Fintech ecosystem players to foster collaboration and partnership opportunities.

• Drive the design and execution of joint collaboration programs aimed at fostering innovation and scaling fintech solutions.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to align initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.

• Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and market dynamics to identify emerging opportunities and risks.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a world leading university.

• Strong international experience in fintech innovation, business development and strategic partnerships, with a focus on South East Asia markets.

• Proven track record of driving successful joint collaboration programs and partnerships in the fintech sector.

• Deep understanding of the South East Asia fintech ecosystem, including key players, regulatory landscape, and market dynamics.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

• International experience preferred, with a strong network of contacts in the South East Asia region.

• Excellent oral and written communications, with strong interpersonal skills.
