Job Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities in finance operations on Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets functions; and to lead a team in the functions.

• To manage the day to day operations of the Accounts Payable function including recording, processing and reporting of payment to suppliers, staff and students.
• To manage the day to day operations of the Fixed Assets function from capitalization to retirement of assets, verification of assets, accounting for deferred capital grants, reconciliation and reporting of asset records.
• To manage the maintenance of the vendor master records.
• To manage the monthly and yearly closing activities of the finance functions.
• To support the implementation of SAP S/4 Hana Enterprise Resource Planning System.
• To manage business process re-engineering, process automation and improvement, engagement and communication to internal and external customers.
• To support in formulating and improving the financial policies and operating procedures, and documentation of work processes.
• To support the internal/external audits, implementation of audit recommendations and improvement to internal controls.
• Any other duties/projects as assigned

Job Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor/Honor Degree in Accountancy. Preferably a Chartered Accountant.
• At least 12 years of relevant working experience in Finance operations with last 5 years in a managerial role.
• Highly motivated, independent, proactive and meticulous as well as an excellent team player with good inter-personal and communication skills
• Possess good command of written and spoken English language
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4 Hana and Oracle E-Business Suite will be an added advantage.
