Job Description

• Generate a robust pipeline of new client business opportunities and leads by proactively engaging corporations and identifying opportunities for corporate training and development by managing, growing and sustaining effective relationships at multiple levels of an organization in targeted verticals across China

• Manage and develop relationship with new and existing portfolio of clients including proposal development, contracting and coordination with faculty on curriculum matters

• Partner with the client, faculty and programme management team to oversee the delivery and debrief phases of new and existing customised programmes

• Formulate strategies for brand and revenue growth including the development of innovative marketing campaigns, leveraging NUS Marketing teams and resources

• Develop messaging and content for client proposals to effectively communicate NUS thought leadership and value propositions
• Market open programmes and in particular, manage Mandarin open programmes. In addition, refer broader Business School offerings (eg MBA/MSC/internships, management practicums) to prospects and clients.

• Maintain an understanding of key industry trends and the future of work, so as to become a trusted advisor to senior business leaders and Heads of L&D and Human Resources


Qualifications

This role requires regular interface with external corporate leaders from CEOs to Chief HR officers of China and regional organizations, and with senior faculty of the University.

 

As such the requirements include:
• Strong academic background - with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience working in executive education/continuing education/learning and development space
• Experience working with business partners across industries from China
• Experience working with faculty and subject matter experts to develop impactful programme proposals
• Proven track record in business development, consultative or B2B sales
• Able to undertake business travel within the region at short notice
• Maturity to take ownership and accountability for achieving agreed sales targets and account management activities
• Able to interact and influence cross-functional stakeholders and executives at multiple levels in an organization
• Advanced knowledge and application of MS Office suite, especially PPT and willingness to embrace new technologies in the workplace
