Senior Executive, Student Administration

Established in 1981, the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) https://www.ntu.edu.sg/eee is one of the founding Schools of the Nanyang Technological University. Built on a culture of excellence, the school is renowned for its high academic standards and research. It is one of the largest EEE schools in the world, with more than 120 faculty members and an enrolment of more than 4,000, of which about 1,000 are graduate students.

We invite applications for the position of Senior Executive. The incumbent shall actively contribute to academic initiatives and activities aimed at enriching students' learning experience throughout their postgraduate research and academic journey.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Support student-related activities such as course registration and attending to programme/ candidature-related enquiries.

• Manage the appointment of supervisors and thesis advisory committee.

• Work closely with Graduate Research Programme Committee on the appointment of Qualifying Examination (QE) panel.

• Facilitate student’s qualifying examination exercise.

• Follow-ups on overdue fees.

• Compiling and preparing reports related to assigned tasks.

• Responsible for coordinating seminars for the Research Centres, which entails tasks like venue booking, email broadcasting, catering procurement via Ariba, and overseeing on-site logistical arrangements.

• Any other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.

• Previous experience in higher education, particularly in admissions or administration of academic programmes, is advantageous.

• Has high competency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and others)

• Excellent organizational, time management and planning skills

• Highly motivated individual with strong analytic skills, a keen eye for details, can multi-task and work independently and is a fast learner.
