Executive (Research Coordinator)

The appointee will be part of the team conducting the ‘Singapore Breast Cancer Cohort Project’; assisting in the building and expanding of the current database for research on breast cancer. The appointee will independently manage a site of the cohort project. Apart from the cohort project, the appointee will provide assistance in other projects.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Adhere to compliance with Research Governance, Good Clinical Practice, Data Protection and Ethical Requirements
2. Conduct research study; e.g. manage site filing and documentation, patient recruitment, ensure study entry criteria are fulfilled, ensure informed consent procedure is followed, conduct structure interviews, documenting recruitment, updating the team on (own) site’s progress, writing reports for (own) site.
3. Collect and collate research data, ensuring its accuracy and completeness.
4. Ensure timely and accurate transcription of information on source documents, electronic case report forms, etc.
5. Label and ensure biological specimens are delivered in the correct conditions as specified in the protocol.
6. Uphold highest standard of confidentiality on patient data

Secondary Responsibilities and Duties:
The appointee can be asked to assist in other projects by the principle investigator; that require contact with breast cancer patients.

The applicant should:
a. Preferably have passion in research and/or related experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. 
b. Bachelor degree in relevant discipline
c. Be able to work independently and in a team
d. Have good communication skills and is comfortable interacting with breast cancer patients
e. Preferably female due to the nature of the research topic
