Job Description

Job Purpose:

Lead the programme administration, curriculum development, assessment components and instructional teaching materials for Department of Bio medical Informatics (DBMI) undergraduate and postgraduate degrees and other educational initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and project manage programme administration of the undergraduate, postgraduate degrees and other educational initiatives in Biomedical Informatics
    • Programme administration/logistics including class scheduling, module registration and examination matters (scheduling/invigilation/logistics planning/present required data at the Board of Examiners)
  • Work, engage and communicate with companies, students, NUS staff and alumni, partner universities, external agencies and entrepreneurs for programme administration and internships for capstone projects
  • Lead the curriculum administration, budgets, operations, marketing and outreach, mentor management, student updates, graduation records, financial advisory and programme quality assurance activities
  • Lead and work with the module owners on curriculum content to develop instructional and assessment materials

Qualifications
  • Recognised university degree with at least 6 years of relevant work experience in institutes of higher learning
  • ACTA or DACE certification is advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Copywriting experience with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Meticulous, self-initiated, well-organised and able to work independently or in a team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all levels of staff as well as students
  • Positive attitude and able to multi-task and work under pressure and tight deadlines
