Job Description

Job Purpose:

The appointee will be part of the team conducting the ‘Breast Cancer Screening and Prevention Programme, assisting the study team in execution of day-to-day operational procedures and administrative tasks for the research programme

 

Duties & Responsibilities

PROJECT EXECUTION

Conduct patient screening and recruitment, informed consent, research procedures including questionnaire administration and bio-sample collection for research projects

DATA MANAGEMENT

Collection and extraction of research and clinical data; assist in data monitoring and checking; data compilation and management

DOCUMENTATION & FILING

Adhere to compliance with Research Governance, Good Clinical Practice, Data Protection and Ethical Requirements and perform documentation and filing according to these guidelines

GRANT, ETHICS REVIEW & AGREEMENT MANAGEMENT

Assist study team on grant management, submission of progress report and ethics review, and management of research collaboration agreements and other legal document

ORGANIZE INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL MEETING

Prepare meeting agenda, presentation slide and record minutes of meeting

PROCUREMENT AND CLAIMS

Assist in procurement process and processing of claims

OTHER AD-HOC DUTIES

Other ad-hoc duties as required by the project management team or investigators


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Business, Accounting or any relevant disciplines
  • Preferably have passion in research and/or relevant experience.
  • Ability to manage complex and highly confidential information with discretion and integrity
  • Flexibility and willingness to work simultaneously on a wide range of tasks and projects
  • Able to prioritize effectively, well organized and accomplish assignments on time
  • Excellent team player, positive attitude with commendable work ethics, proactive and able to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
  • Possess strong sense of commitment
  • Knowledge of MS office software
