Senior Executive, Case Study Unit - 00DMR 



The Case Study Unit (CSU) at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) produces case studies that cover a wide range of issues in public policy, administration and management with an Asian focus. We promote the use of case studies for public policy learning and public sector training, and manage a repository of over a hundred case studies that can be found in the LKYSPP Case Study Library. These are used in classroom teaching for degree and executive education programmes at the LKYSPP.

The Social Inclusion Project (SIP) at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy is a new research programme dedicated to analysing the role of public policies in creating an open, diverse and inclusive society, where people have opportunities for participation. Its activities aim to influence policy development, promote policy literacy and enable engagement. The programme is committed to independent and transparent research on overlooked and emerging social problems, with a focus on empirical work that has practical impact.

CSU is looking to hire a Senior Executive to support the operations of the CSU and SIP by carrying out administrative duties, project management, business development/marketing/outreach and programme delivery. This position reports to the Head of CSU and SIP.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Carry out administrative duties, including work plan, budgeting, procurement, HR, Legal and Ops.

  • Assist in project management, including recruitment and monitoring work processes for student RAs and external case writers, and external collaborators such as government agencies and inter-faculty.

  • Conduct business development, marketing and outreach activities such as maintaining the CSU website and SIP online resources, organising the Case Writing Competition and research events, business development for CSU, and public engagement activities for SIP.

  • Support programme design and delivery from time to time, such as case study workshop.



  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in administrative role. Familiar with Microsoft Office.

  • Basic knowledge of work plan and budgeting processes, including basic understanding of public sector structures and procurement processes.

  • Project management experience and attentive to details.

  • Some experience in business development, marketing and outreach activities.

  • Able to take initiative and work independently.

(The NUS Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy is located 5-8 minutes’ walk from the Botanic Gardens MRT, which is served by the Circle and Downtown 2 MRT lines).
