The Corporate Services Team ensures the following proceses are efficiently and effectively carried out in compliance with the University’s and department’s policies and guidelines:

Office Administration
• Attend to queries made to department main phone line.
• Manage mails sent to department main mailbox.
• Manage procurement of general office supplies, leasing of equipment and upkeep of office facilities and making contingency plans to avoid disruption to office services.

 

Accounts payable, Procurement and Cost management
• Handle Accounts Payables transactions.
• Process vendor invoices, verifying accuracy, obtaining approvals and perform account coding.
• Process procurement and purchase order in accordance with University policy.
• Process procurement card transactions.
• Assist in budgeting and tracking of budget utilisation, generate reports and schedules pertaining to procurement related processes.
• Assist in tracking and generating budget and reports.
• Maintain a complete filing system of all financial and supporting documents.
• Focus on improving and automating traditional paper based workflow to transform and digitise operations
• Any other duties as assigned.


Human Resource
• Process claims made by contingent workforce and temporary staff.
 


Qualifications
  • ​​​​​​Degree or Diploma with 3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel.
  • Working knowledge of SAP Financial system will be an added advantage.
  • A meticulous team player with positive work attitude, good communication skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Always with a mindset to focus on how to improve “as is” process. Looking for opportunities to improve and streamline existing manual process.
  • Good interpersonal skills to deal with both internal and external parties.
