Responsibilities

• Provide in-house Sharepoint and Web applications development support
• Develop and program web-based or related applications meet the business needs and requirements
• Design, develop, code, test and maintain web applications
• Work with business users in gathering business requirements, preparing specifications, application testing and ensuring smooth rollout of projects
• Provide support in the maintenance of the technical documentation in the current or newly developed applications, and in the adherence of all development controls and standards.
• Ensure operations are in compliance with Group IT policies, standards and practices established
• Work with the vendors for the development and support of the various Applications
• Provide prompt and effective support to existing systems and manage relations with users and vendors.

Job Requirements

• Possess a Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant working experience, strong technical competencies and an analytical mind.
• Strong knowledge in C#, CSS/HTML, Javascript, Web Services, APIs, Microsoft SharePoint 2010 / 2013 / 2016, SQL / Oracle database.
• Knowledge of software services and experience in supporting Library Management System / Hostel Management System / Research Management System would be an added advantage.
• Must be able to work with cross-functional departments and have excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Other traits include positive attitude, self-motivated customer-service oriented and a team player.
