The Science, Mathematics and Technology cluster at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) seeks a suitable candidate for a full-time position of researcher (Research Fellow/Research Associate/Research Assistant) on a 6 to 12 months contract with expertise on educational neuroscience and machine learning. The position is expected to be available from March 2022 onwards.

Requirements: Applicants should possess relevant qualifications in cognitive neuroscience, neuropsychology, or a related field with a strong background in electroencephalogram (EEG), neural computation, and programming with Python or MATLAB.  They are expected to be proficient in time-frequency analysis and/or single-trial analysis of EEG data.

Responsibilities

• EEG experiment design, implementation, data analysis, neural computation, and neural network implementation in education setting
• Support and participate in research activities, and attend to the research needs such as gathering research data, research reports or meta-analysis works
• Conduct literature searches and review
• Manage research data and keep up-to-date research records
• Contribute to writing research reports, publications, and presentation materials with minimum supervision
• Perform data processing and analysis
• Perform other assignments as determined by the Principal Investigator
