Temasek Laboratories is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Scientist who has a research background on optical fibre development. The staff will be involved in laser fibre development project.
Job Responsibilities
Work on a project to support laser fibre development, fabrication of muti-component glass fibres
Characterization of fabricated optical fibres for optical properties
Conduct characterization and analyses of optical fibres including basic optical property measurements
Job Requirements
Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field with minimum 4-years research experience in glass science and optical fiber development
Proven track record of research related to optical fibre fabrication, fibre characterization, and/or fibre design
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Effective interpersonal skills
